I have been in the childcare industry for nine years now and my passion is to provide quality childcare with a safe and secure environment, that feels like a home away from home. I believe that the care provided during the early childhood years is extremely important for shaping each child as they move forward in life.

I believe that during these years each child should have a place where they feel save, supported and loved. Each child should have the opportunities to develop at their own pace and lead their own learning with their own interests. Quality childcare should provide the opportunity for children to further their prior knowledge and expose children to new experiences.

As early childhood educators it is our roll to support each child through their early years and prepare them for the important transition to school. I believe that working together with families and the wider community, we are the foundation on which each child’s holistic development is based on.

I am passionate about the prepared environment.  I believe, as educators, one of our most important jobs is to ensure the environment is inviting and full of purposeful activities.

I strive for the children to be independent in their  learning.  Children have a natural curiosity about the world around them and a desire for knowledge.  I believe in looking at the children as individuals and observing them on their learning journeys each day.  It always amazes me to see where their wonderful minds take them. I feel privileged to be a part of these formative years in children’s lives.

From a young age, I have always known that working with young children would be a future career of mine. After coming from a large family and caring for younger children from such a young age, I started to begin my studies in 2011. I have always had a passion for supporting and helping children to develop into independent learners, however they have taught me so much about discovery, imagination, curiosity, joy, and the never ending journey of learning. I enjoy the dynamic and exciting opportunities that young children bring. They are so passionate and excited about the world around them. I have learned so much from their investment in exploration and am committed to supporting and growing with them. I feel that my job is so rewarding in so many different ways, seeing each child develop and succeed at their own individual pace and to know that I have been a part of that process. I love forming trusting and loving bonds with children while watching them learn and grow.

Children have the right to feel safe and comfortable within their environment having access to fresh , healthy foods and being provided with a clean and tidy environment.

I believe in learning with children, following their interests and ideas to support and scaffold the way they begin to understand the world in which they live. I believe that children have the right to be themselves and confident to express who they are or want to be. ‘Live and learn”.-This is my central belief in children‘s care and education. Educators not only helping and guiding children to format and shape their lives but also learning from children. I believe that children learn best in a safe, nurturing, respectful environment that promotes independence and a positive sense of self-esteem. I believe learning is a natural process for children that develops spontaneously in the learning.

I believe that educators should support all children in developing strong moral values that reflect empathy, respect, honesty, compassion, integrity, and trust by providing consistent care and guidance. I believe that the curriculum can reflect life-long learning by expanding the traditional subjects and making all learning relative. I believe children could use self-teaching, self-corrective material to set their own learning pace to internalize information. I believe that learning should take place in a non-competitive environment where learning is driven internally to better one’s self.

My name is Neeru and I have been in the childcare industry for 5 years. Working with children is my passion and I love learning from them, I believe we should treat children the way we want to be treated. So give respect to receive respect. Building relationships with children and families at their pace is my first priority. This helps me in providing the child with a warm, caring and nurturing educational environment. I strongly believe that the first 5 years of a child’s life are the critical in shaping their future. So my aim is to provide the child with a supporting and enriching environment so that their interests can be extended by exploration and discovery in a stimulating environment. It has been amazing for me both as an Educator and Mother to watch and see how each individual child works within the Montessori Environment.

  • Kidz Galore Childcare Centre Perth – Assistant Educator

Having come from a nursing and social care background I believe in caring for and nurturing others. I have chosen to continue developing my skills within the childcare sector and helping develop confident little learners. I believe in being a compassionate and caring Educator and helping children grow and be more independent in their own goals.

I believe that learning is happening all the time especially in the first 5 years of a child’s life I want to help guide them in to the next stage of development with confidence in themselves and excitement to continue learning.

I feel providing a safe, fun positive environment helps nurture the children to strive in all their areas of development.

Position – On site Cook / bus driver

I believe that healthy habits begin at an early age and we should be providing a nutritionally balanced and varied menu from the moment food is introduced. Also that presentation is important as we ‘eat with our eyes’, especially our young friends.  Montessori Mt Hawthorn’s additive and preservative aware menu impressed me when I started my position here.  Also the casual yet very interactive dining experience is beautiful to be a part of.

My aim is to get to know the families and the children in the centre by learning; their likes, their dislikes, their preferences, their cultures and their interests.  I plan to use this information and incorporate this into my preparation of the meals I provide as well as the presentation.

I am looking forward to working with the children on our vegetable garden, and supporting the children’s understanding of real food in the kitchen.
